Your first session focuses on understanding what’s bringing you in and what you want to shift. We’ll explore your history, your current stressors, and the patterns you’ve been carrying — without pressure to have everything figured out. The goal is to get a clear sense of where you are and what support will help.

Depending on your needs, we may draw from CBT, mindfulness‑based strategies, motivational interviewing, harm‑reduction–informed work, and trauma‑informed care. Sessions are typically 53 minutes. Most clients start with weekly sessions. As you make progress on your personal goals, we’ll decide together what rhythm helps you stay grounded and moving forward.

I am in‑network with select insurance plans in New York. If I’m not in‑network with your plan, I can provide superbills for potential out‑of‑network reimbursement.

Fees vary depending on the service and your insurance coverage. Before we begin, I’ll review costs, payment options, and what to expect so everything feels clear and transparent.

Yes. Your privacy is protected by law and by professional ethics. There are a few rare exceptions related to safety, which I’ll review with you clearly at the start of our work together.

I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed sessions will be charged the full session fee ($125), as insurance does not cover them. Life happens. If something urgent comes up, we’ll talk through it.
